Forbes magazine on Tuesday, June 23, published a ranking of the 100 best universities in Russia as of 2020, placing the National Research University Higher School of Economics (68.07) in first place, and Lomonosov Moscow State University in second (67.55) .

The first three in the ranking of universities are closed by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) with 53.04 points. In addition, the top ten included Bauman Moscow State Technical University, as well as the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).

At the same time, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia was on the 11th line of the rating, and St. Petersburg State University (SPbGU) was on the 12th.

In 2019, the National Research Technological University MISiS was in first place (54.11 points), followed by MGIMO (52.24 points), and MIPT closed the top three (52.01 points).
