The publisher AS Rus Media will once again start releasing a printed version of Forbes Woman, dedicated to women’s business. The first paper issue will be released in March.
Julia Varshavskaya will become the editor-in-chief of the revived edition. The circulation will be the same as that of the main Forbes – 90 thousand copies, Kommersant reports on January 14.
Forbes Woman appeared in 2009 and was published quarterly. In 2017, the publication of the magazine in paper was discontinued, after which it existed only in the online version. The head of the ASMG holding, which at that time published Forbes in Russia, Alexander Fedotov explained the closure of the magazine by the impossibility of “drawing a line between male businessmen and female businessmen.”
In 2018, Forbes Russia changed its owner. Now the publication is owned by Magomed Musaev.
“The decision to resume the printed version of the publication is quite natural and dictated by the relevance of the gender issue in the world and in our country in particular,” he believes.
