
Magomed Dukuzov, who is accused of involvement in the murder of Paul Khlebnikov, editor-in-chief of the Russian version of Forbes magazine, has been detained in Kiev. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
“On November 17, Dukuzov Magomed, born in 1978, who was put on the international wanted list at the request of Russian law enforcement agencies, was detained in Kiev,” said Volk, whose words are quoted on the official website of the department.
According to an official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry, Dukuzov is accused of involvement in a series of contract killings in Moscow, including the murder of Paul Khlebnikov, editor-in-chief of the Russian version of Forbes magazine.
The author of the books “Godfather of the Kremlin Boris Berezovsky, or the History of the Plundering of Russia” and “A Conversation with a Barbarian”, journalist and publicist Paul Khlebnikov was shot dead on July 9, 2004, near the building of the Russian Forbes editorial office on Dokukina Street in Moscow. Several shots were fired at the journalist, from which he died on the spot.
