Forbes magazine has compiled a rating of the heirs of the richest entrepreneurs in Russia. 20 families were selected, in which the successors account for the largest fortune.
It is specified that 46 children of the oligarchs will inherit a total of $ 211 billion. The only son of the president of Lukoil, Vagit Alekperov, Yusuf Alekperov, became the richest ($ 17 billion).
In second place are the children of the largest shareholder of Novatek and Sibur Leonid Mikhelson – $ 8.9 billion each.
The third place was taken by the children of the owner of Eurochem and SUEK Andrey Melnichenko, who account for a fortune of $14.5 billion.
The analytical company Wealth-X previously conducted a census of the world’s billionaires and found that in 2017 their number reached a record 2,754 people.
In March, Forbes magazine published a ranking of the richest people in the world. It was led by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, whose fortune is estimated at $112 billion, displacing Microsoft founder Bill Gates with $90 billion.
