Peskov commented on the Forbes rating of influential Russians

Forbes

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called the rating of the Russian version of Forbes magazine about the most influential Russian officials, businessmen, top managers and security officials incomprehensible.

According to the list published on August 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin topped the rating.

“Naturally, one does not have to be a visionary to put Putin in the first place. This is a simple matter. And the rest is an incomprehensible list, ”said the Kremlin spokesman.

According to Peskov, the Kremlin saw the rating, but it is not clear what criteria the compilers of the list used.

According to the newspaper, Putin topped the list automatically, because he took second place in the global ranking of the most influential people in the world according to the American Forbes.

In May, it became known that Putin, for the first time in five years, did not take the first line in the Forbes rating of the most influential people in the world. He was in second place, losing the lead to Chinese President Xi Jinping. US President Donald Trump also moved from second to third position.
