Philippines’ richest man dies

The richest man in the Philippines, business tycoon, investor and founder of SM Investments Corporation (SMIC) Henry C, died on January 19 at the age of 94. This was reported by CNN Philippines on Saturday.

“He was a happy man knowing that he made the world a better place. He was an icon in Philippine retail, banking and real estate. Above all, he was a loving father and a good person,” said Jose Sio, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SMIC.

It is noted that in 2018, Xi topped the list of the richest people in the Philippines according to Forbes magazine. His income was $18.3 billion.

On December 17, it was reported that the winner of the international beauty contest “Miss Universe” in 2018 was the representative of the Philippines Catriona Gray.
