Russia was ranked 58th in Forbes magazine’s ranking of the best countries to do business, rising higher than Ukraine, which was ranked 77th. The list was published on the publication’s website.

The leader of the rating, as in the previous year, was the United Kingdom, whose position was not affected by the imminent exit from the European Union. The second place was taken by Sweden, the third – by Hong Kong. The top ten also included the Netherlands, New Zealand, Canada, Denmark, Singapore, Australia and Switzerland.

The United States, which ranked 11th last year, is now in 17th position. China was in 49th place. The last five places were taken by Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, the Republic of the Congo and the Central African Republic.
