LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky commented on the rating compiled by Forbes magazine of the most influential Russians, in which he took the last, hundredth, place. He criticized the list, but called getting into it recognition.
Zhirinovsky stressed that only he and the head of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov were among the oppositionists, RIA Novosti reports.
“The remaining 98 people are one political team. Yes, and Zyuganov was included, because he represents the old regime, ”added the LDPR leader.
At the same time, Zhirinovsky spoke negatively about the method of calculation, which guided the compilers of the rating.
“The list is not objective. We have 70% of the economy owned by the state, and in the list 80% are bankers, people who have the most money in Russia. But really, it’s not their money, but the money of our country, and we just temporarily entrusted them to manage them, ”he said.
The rating was published on August 30. The first place was taken by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The compilers explained that this happened automatically, as he became the second in a similar global ranking compiled by the American version of the magazine.
